Clinical Supervision

"Clinical supervision is a regular, protected time for facilitated in depth reflection on clinical practice.in which the dynamics and pressures of the work can be felt, explored and understood and where new ways of working can be co-created by both supervisor and supervisees working together"
(Bond and Holand 1998. Hawkins and Shohet. 1989)

Heart of the Mountain Therapy provides professional clinical supervision of individual and group therapists, and is suitable for:

Trainee counsellors/psychotherapists
Practising counsellors/psychotherapists
And for Transactional Analysis trainees preparing for Exams

Supervisees at Heart of the Mountain Therapy will be in training with an established professional training body, and or in practise with a qualification to practise, and have access to clients, and work within established codes of ethics and practise.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED in SUPERVISION please contact us. We will then discuss with you by email or phone what your requirements are and ask you:

  • what you want from supervision
  • the client group and nature of the work to be supervised
  • what any involved or employing organisation wants from your supervision
  • your therapeutic orientation and training background
  • what you want to know about us

The next step would be to set up an initial Supervision Session where we could together look at your needs and discuss how the Supervisions sessions will be structured and the practicalities around that. We would then formalise our arrangements in a Supervision Working Contract.
