About the Therapist

Jody Boliston Mardula accredited therapistJody Boliston Mardula is a Member of the British Council for Counselling and Psychotherapy (Senior Accredited), and a United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy Registered Psychotherapist. She is a Certified Transactional Analysts and Provisional Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst.

Jody has worked for many years as a therapist with a wide range of different client issues. Her method of working is Integrative and she sees the childhood history of each individual as the key to understanding how individuals see themselves, and to the problems they develop in the present. Exploring these patterns and how they are affecting the way that the person experiences themselves, others and their environment, within the theraputic relationship, can lead to resolution of difficulties, and development of new and more effective ways of thinking, feeling and behaving.

Jody is also a Trainer working across the UK for different Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Institutes teaching Counselling and Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy. She teaches Addictions Counselling incorporating her own Appetite Path Model for working with substance misuse. She is also a trainer in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.

The principle therapist and the supervisor at Heart of the Mountain, is Jody Mardula. If on contact you are referred to other therapists, they would give you information about themselves, their qualifications and how and where they work, when you are put in contact with them.

All Therapists associated with Heart of the Mountain are fully trained practitioners who work within the codes of ethics and practise for their profession.
